Free E-books, Sell Resell Rights High Quality Free Ebooks

Genuinely, to have any chance of making money on the Internet, it is extremely important to understand the golden rule of Internet marketing. The golden rule for Internet marketing is simple as ABC. The golden rule is to find hungry markets that have a definite deficit for a particular product, the product you intend to introduce to the market create will fill the vacuum. So, it is important, even before creating a downloadable website, or even considers buying any products, with the sole intention of selling for profit, you must create a product which has a ready market.

It is with extreme difficulty to market a product on the Internet which is sold in saturated numbers, and then competing with possibly hundreds of thousands of other sellers. The overwhelming desire to create a fortune on the Internet must, in the initial stages at least, be placed on the back burner, or at least delayed, until effective market research have identified the type of product, which the market is hungry for.

When I started to create websites, with the intention of making my fortune on the Internet – many years ago, I then was forced to create the website from the absolute beginning, and creating just a basic website would take many weeks of very hard work, Some very repetitive actions, in creating the early stages of the website, it was possible to develop some compatible sub-routines, which would in reality, slightly reduce the time taken to create the website.

Even with creating the website, at least, in the initial stages, developing the basic website remained an extremely repetitive and most of the time very frustrating experience. On completion of the basic website, the hard work started as from the basic website any advanced features would need to be individually hand coded, and the more advanced the completed website was needed, the more hand coding was necessary.

The sub-routines when created, was useful, and was relatively time saving, although mostly of little benefit, unless the hand coding needed to be repetitive as far as creating, what would be called today a template, but unfortunately not every webmaster wanted the same type of website, the more unique the website created, then the less possibility to create and use sub-routines.

In modern day creation of websites is lot easier, than the good old days, as now it’s an easy task to create any type of website without even using hand coding or even understanding html or php coding. It is even possible for the absolute beginner to gain experience and expertise from high quality informational e-books, and within months, or even weeks, create an absolutely stunning unique website, by what I refer to as sub-routines – well alright I am exaggerating a little.

What I refer to as sub-routines many years ago, now is called website scripts, and using the relevant website scripts, the creation of websites like using autopilot, where I would create websites in weeks, with the website scripts, the website can creating in minutes. But that is not the end of the story about website scripts, the creation of the website is only a small part of their usefulness of website scripts.

With my vast experience on the Internet, gaining experience and expertise in creating websites, search engine optimization techniques and website adverting, promoting and marketing. I can honestly confess that the best opportunity to make money on the Internet, and create wealth over the long term. This is only my personal advice based solely on the vast experience of creating wealth on the Internet for many years, and still creating websites and using my expertise in the promotion and marketing of the website to create wealth, actually a nice monthly earner, through to this day.

If I was to choose one type of website to create, that with the correct search engine optimization techniques, the correct effective website advertising, promoting and marketing, and will be expected to create money on the Internet, especially in the early stages of the websites completion. I would definitely select an instantly downloadable website, research on the Internet will confirm that reading high quality ebooks is always popular and there are millions of e-books sold every day.

The difference between the successful entrepreneur making millions of dollars selling downloadable digital e-books, and the unsuccessful ebook website owners, is search engine optimization and the effective promotion and marketing, which is an essential requirement for the acquisition of profits and likewise success on the Internet. The subject is too vast for me to discuss here, although I have discussed the relevant subjects in previous ebooks.

An instant success website script, which must be a contender for creating a profitable business on the Internet, is called An Article Directory Generator; this is a unique article directory generator website script, which allows you to create an article directory. Important issue when considering the usefulness of this script is the fact that every article created, will contain the unique address of your website. The basic idea of article directory websites is that articles are used as rich content for Internet newsletters, article websites and for website owners who send regular emails with unique content, for advertising their websites.

Every article distributed, usually free, will increase the back links to your website, which in reality will increase the chances of your article website, indexing high in the major search engines rankings. I mentioned earlier the importance of promoting your website, well the most effective way of promoting your website, is to popularise your website, popularise in this respect, means increasing the websites back links, and one very effective way of doing this is to distribute articles with your unique web address on articles, distributed throughout the Internet.

The amazing part about buying this Article Directory Generator Package is that there is a possibility of purchasing the package with full resell rights, which crucially means the legal commitment to resell the package as often as you wish. That’s not all, with the full resell rights, you could even sell the completed Article Directory websites – check the license conditions, when you have created the websites.

There is an excellent website script available, with full resell rights; it’s an ebook store package script, which will create the downloadable ebook website in minutes, loaded with a massive one hundred instant downloadable e-books. This downloadable ebook website script creates a downloadable website similar to the downloadable websites for sale on eBay. Once the website is created, work will be needed to improve the uniqueness of the website, to satisfy the major search engines insistence on indexing unique websites and not duplicated websites from templates.

This knowledge and experience – knowledge can be gained by studying relevant high quality informational ebooks, the newly created website needs to have relevant keywords embedded in the rich content of the webpage’s, similarly the embedded relevant keywords must also be embedded in the Meta Tags of each webpage which displays the relevant keywords only. This technique is termed search engine optimization techniques, and can be perfected by reading high quality informational e-books.

The final website script which needs to be mentioned which can be an excellent wealth builder, is the Site Membership Script, like the previously mentioned website scripts, will create an excellent membership website. Although one word of warning, because the Site Membership Script have been very popular over the last few years, from around version 3, old site membership scripts websites, because of their wealth earning capabilities, the website owners have been very reluctant to update and upgrade their websites and site membership scripts.

As most site membership script websites still sell the out dated site membership scripts version 3 or 4, it is very important, when buying a site membership script to insist on buying the site membership script from a website which sell the recently updated site membership script version 8.0.1. The updated site membership script is not only far superior script, but also much more advanced in its capabilities as a membership website. Insist on the more advanced Site Membership Script version 8.0.1.

The new updated Site Membership Scripts features are outstanding and the most advanced features, which can easily increase the attraction of the membership website to targeted visitors, and as a consequence increase relevant targeted visitors to sign up for site membership scripts membership.

The membership scripts website listed below incredibly offer a demo on the website, so the potential customer can try out the website script and evaluate the website script, to see whether the website script is the exact script features needed by the potential customer.

Essentially, the opportunity to examine the site membership script in real time is a very important feature, as not only will the potential customer can become familiar with advanced features prior to creating the membership website, in addition, the potential customer is gaining experience on the exact website membership site that they will be buying – nothing hidden from sight, what they see is what they get.

If you are serious about buying a Site Membership Script it is imperative to visit a specialist site membership script website, and you will know that you are dealing with the experts, who is very familiar with the membership site scripts they are selling. The important consideration must be the membership scripts website will only sell one product, and as such, will have acquired experience and expertise in the one chosen product.

The website selling the most advanced Site Membership Script version 8.0.1, and includes the real time demo, is Membership Scripts 4u dot com and Membership Sites 4u dot com either one of these two websites will more than satisfy your needs for the most advanced and fully featured membership website.

In addition to the most advanced and fully featured site membership scripts, the members instant download area, offers the highest quality free e-books, which concentrate on the very important subjects to creating wealth; search engine optimization techniques, website advertising, promoting and marketing. The high quality free e-books are written by the Internets finest writers and experts in their field. To benefit from informational and instructional high quality ebooks, one must read, understand and follow the instructions precisely and use the high quality ebooks as excellent reference e-books in addition, selling the e-books as resell rights to gain profit and value.

Not quite ready to buy a site membership script quite yet, no problem, as the websites have a free membership facility, where in the free members instant download area, the free members have access – free no hidden costs, to the highest quality e-books, again on the extremely important subjects of making money on the Internet, such as Making money, sell resell rights ebooks, scripts and resell rights software. These high quality free e-books is much in demand, and as such there is restrictions on how many free members to the website will be accepted.

The previous website scripts – not the Site Membership Script, mentioned above need to be bought in a mass package, as the price will be cheaper as they are then sold as wholesale lots. If purchased singly then unfortunately, the prices will increase ten fold at least. The website link below Resell You Can dot com sells a massive eighty website scripts, including the website scripts mentioned above – not the site membership scripts, and only pay the wholesale prices.

The buyer has many options of creating money and wealth with the instantly downloadable 80 website scripts pack. As the website scripts are being sold at wholesale prices – way below the individual prices of one individual script in the pack, there is a unique opportunity to sell the website scripts individually on eBay, or create the download websites from the individual scripts, and sell the individual script or the scripts pack as the website download product.

Creating unique websites from websites scripts is a lot easier today than when I started to create websites, which to create just one basic website could take the best part of three weeks, hand coded. Today using website scripts from even complex websites can be created in just minutes, with the most advanced features, never even thought was possible in my wildest dreams many years ago.

Keep Dry With A Poly Tarp

The thing about a poly tarp is once you?ve had one, you will always have one. To be without one can no longer be an option. They?re the handiest things since the riding lawn mower, only with numerous more uses. They can prolong the life of many of your already existing handy gadgets. In fact, ?poly tarp use? is only limited by the owners? imagination. From temporary roof patch, to picnic shade, to motorcycle insulater, they are an invaluable asset to any home.

Yes, a poly tarp is a multi-tasker at your command. They redeem their price over and over and over again. To list the many different types of tarps, or tarpaulins, is just too much for this article, there are websites devoted to that. But the many uses, now that?s a poly tarp?s shining achievement. So let?s take, for instance, just one farm with a house, barn, and garage, and maybe a few other things as we ponder on. The owners will be Jack and Jill Tarpaulin.

Jack worked all weekend on his car, and needed to leave the hood off. It is immovable, will not go back in the garage. He grabbed a poly tarp and covered his motor securely, because it looked like it might rain. Inside, Jill was cleaning in the washroom, and accidentally busted out a window with her broom handle while backing up sweeping. She simply grabbed a tarp and covered the hole until the glass could be replaced.

In the barn, the Tarpaulins had a few milk cows that had knocked out several boards. Jack secured this with another tarp until he could get to town and get new boards. As he headed back to the house, he noticed the poly tarp over the pool in the backyard, and was proud of the job he had done placing it there. He could see that the poly tarp over the hole in the back porch roof, made from a falling limb of the Oak tree beside it, had held off the snow of winter, and all the water for the last few weeks. His porch laid dry like a desert.

Jill had moved out to their favorite spot over by the creek, where they had hung two large poly tarps and made a covered grilling area, with table and chairs underneath, and of course the grill.

On his way out to her, Jack had taken the poly tarp off his lawn mower, and loaded it with brush he needed to burn down by the creek. He pulled the poly tarp across the yard behind the mower, using it as a transport.

Pardon the little story, but it creates a picture in your mind, about poly tarp uses. I?m sure while you read this story, a few ideas of your own popped up. If you?re suddenly realizing, that a good quality poly tarp is the perfect solution to one of your own problems, then here is an excellent place to start your search.

Brooker Creek Preserve – An Old Florida Experience

Florida is known for its great beaches, amusement parks for every taste and ocean side resorts. In fact, Florida beaches have been listed in the top ten beaches in the United States every year. Caladesi Island State Park beach was named number one in 2008 and in 2005 the north beach of Ft. DeSoto Park took the honors, both of these located in the Tampa Bay area.

But there is another side of the Sunshine State that many tourists rarely see. Not far from the white sand beaches, in the interior, lies the quiet beauty of wetlands and rivers, some so clear you can see the bottom. Lining the banks are cypress trees with Spanish moss draped from their limbs. Hammocks (dry oases of land) arise from the surrounding river of grass. Uplands are alive with a variety of wildlife and prairie grass.

One such destination lies just down the road from the sponge docks of Tarpon Springs and is an easy drive from Tampa or the beaches of St. Petersburg and Clearwater.

An area of 9,800 acres has been set aside for protection of the wildlife and the watershed, which is the source of water for Pinellas County. This is the Brooker Creek Preserve, which gets its name from the creek that flows through the preserve and into Lake Tarpon. This is a preserve and not a park. A ranger once explained to me the difference between a park and a preserve.

Sparkling Singapore & Ancient Vietnam Trip Journal

I have always loved aircrafts and long haul flights. We boarded award winning Singapore Airlines in LAX with about 30 hours of travel time ahead of us. With 8 magazines, 6 movies, 4 meals and a sleeping pill, the time went quickly and I arrived relaxed and ready to explore. American airports are not very people friendly. Singapore’s ultra-modern airport invites you to linger with free internet terminals, a cinema, rooftop swimming pool, aromatherapy spas, oxygen bars, indoor nature garden with waterfalls and koi pond.

I’m part of a group of 28 singles. This was a smaller group than expected, but I understand several people dropped out claiming fear of bird flu. I could sense I was part of a quality entourage of seasoned culture-vultures.

We began with an orientation tour at the top of Mt. Farber and its spectacular views. The group was impressed by this sparkling metropolis located between Malaysia and Indonesia. Singapore is the leader of S.E. Asia, a bustling port that was modernized by the East India Trading Company and the British Empire. It’s called the Lion City and inhabited by 4 million souls. 76% are Chinese and the other minorities all blend harmoniously. Singapore is a city, state, capital and country all in one and draws 8 million visitors per year, yet few Americans have yet discovered it.

We checked into the opulent Regent Hotel of The Four Seasons. I’m given a suite and swear this hotel wins the award for the most gracious staff on the planet. We’ve arrived at a perfect time with the “Great Shopping Festival” on full swing. There’s nothing like “retail therapy” to soothe our jet lag minds. Orchard Road, like a tree lined Fifth Avenue, was only a block away and center of all life. Shopping is the national obsession here and bargain hunting a blood sport.

There are 150 mega-malls with some that never close. I’m a label slave and purchased a used authentic Rolex with documents, for a fraction of its original cost. We had only 4 days here. So I had much to do, it’s like Hong Kong on steroids. The Arts Festival was on with many venues from painting and sculpture to music and dance. At night Clarke Quay on the river became party central with its trendy clubs rocking until dawn.
We had an astute and friendly guide named Farida who showed us all the sights with a wonderful sense of humor.

We visited the lush National Orchard Gardens with its 60,000 orchids, China Town with its markets and temples and Little India with its intense aromas and vibrant colors. Then we went to the ultra-contemporary financial district, Merlion Park with its landmark fountain and the historic colonial area that was established by Sir Stanford Raffles.

We stopped to sip a Singapore Sling at the famous Long Bar of Raffles Hotel where rooms start at $700 per night. Our other tours included Jurong Bird Park and the Night Safari at the zoo, considered the best in the world with its free roaming enclosures for 2500 animals.

In our free time, we rode rickshaws around town and took the cable car over to Sentosa Island.
Some of us opted to head back to the zoo for a Jungle Breakfast with the Orangutans. At night Terry & I dinned on jumbo chili crabs and rice cakes.

This vibrant island-state of Singapore is glistening clean with purple bougainvillea bushes lining the highways. All cars are equipped with alarms to sound if one exceeds the speed limit. No graffiti, no gangs and in this tightly “controlled democracy”, it’s the death penalty for drug traffickers. We all made jokes about getting caned for chewing gum or jay-walking.

It was a nice leisurely visit here. I usually feel like Jack Bauer on the TV series “24″ on my trips with non-stop itineraries. Here I felt well rested as I boarded for our 3 hour flight to Vietnam.

Arriving in Hanoi is like stepping into another world with rice paddies, sampans, lotus blossoms, coconut milk and noodle soups. It’s like a time machine dropped us back to the 15th century in this graceful land steeped in history. It was far poorer than I anticipated. There was however, an alluring charm which was found in the gentility of the people with the sincerest of smiles.

I’ve always been a fan of the Third World. Whereas Singapore was dynamic, Hanoi was culturally stimulating. The city was studded with lakes and shaded by tamarind trees. It was a dichotomy that bustled with Chi-energy and yet was tranquil at the same time.

We checked into the deluxe Sheraton Resort, an oasis of calm amidst the chaos. Our fabulous guide named Hong was with us for 6 glorious days.

His first lesson was to teach us how to cross the streets. The traffic here is horrendously busy with 7 lanes packed with 2.4 million motor scooters. “It’s called the Chicken Game” he explained. “Don’t run, don’t stop, just walk slowly so the drivers can predict your direction. They will miss you!” That afternoon I stood in fear stranded 20 minutes curbside realizing this “lesson” went against every one of my survival instincts. Entire families passed by on a single scooter; I understand this is called the “Vietnamese sandwich.” Everything was transported by these mopeds, 8 piglets, a dozen chickens upside down, a TV, a tree and more. The pollution was thick and heavy. The inner city looked tired and worn. Suddenly there was a monsoon downpour. People draped ponchos and it became raincoat city. The traffic never slowed. I ducked for cover. It dissipated as quickly as it began, life went on and the air was temporarily washed clean. I finally crossed the street by walking slowly at an even pace. Everyone missed me.

The sun shined every day on our tours which included the Temple of Literature, One Pillar Pagoda, the French Quarter and the Ho Chi Mihn memorial. We lined up with hundreds of people and entered the tomb where Ho Chi Mihn’s preserved body is visibly encased just like Lennon in Moscow. Armed communist soldiers commanded us to remain in silent reverence, no cameras, umbrellas, sunglasses allowed and arms at our sides at all times.

Later we visited Hoa Lo Prison, or the Fiery Furnace. Built by the French in 1896, thousands of political prisoners were tortured here until 1954. We viewed the dungeons with leg irons, torture equipment and “head cutting machines.”

In the 1960′s the Vietcong used it as a prisoner of war detention center for American pilots shot down during the Vietnam War. It was our captive pilots that sardonically named this place “The Hanoi Hilton.” We also did a walking tour through the Old Quarter where each narrow lane was named for its ancient craft: Silk St., Coffin St., Grilled Fish St., etc. Hong led us to a food market with turtles, sea slugs, pig heads and other unmentionable creatures for sale. “Thit Chow” is dog stew which is considered peasant food here and “country rat” is ceremoniously served at all birthday parties. They say it’s much healthier than “city rat.”

Most of our meals were included and thankfully rodents were never offered. We enjoyed elaborate American and Japanese breakfast buffets and 10 coarse lunches. Every restaurant was affordable. One evening my dinner menu presented salad of jellyfish, deep fried eel, ginger crickets and sticky rice with tender roasted pigeon. It seems the Vietnamese will eat anything that moves because it all “tastes like chicken.”

We attended the Water Puppet Show, an ancient art form unique to Hanoi. This blend of music and dance on water was has been the source of entertainment of villagers for centuries.

We then scattered to explore the city, Asia’s oldest capital. Some went for massages and pedicures at prices that couldn’t be resisted. Some shopped for souvenirs while others had clothes tailor made for them. I had an embroidered silk dress cut to my body in 4 hours for only $45. We also visited the handicraft villages for bargains in art. Want a “Monet?” No problem, just $25. Be careful, it’s wet. There were also ceramics and beautiful lacquerware. The currency was a great challenge for us as $10,500 Dong equals 65 cents. We felt like millionaires, yet it was disheartening to learn that the annual per capita income is just $320! We tipped generously throughout.

Vietnam’s pulse is found in its cities whereas its decorous grace is found in its villages. We headed out through the countryside for a full day cruise on Halong Bay. The air was fresh as we passed rice paddies, duck and prawn farms. It was rice harvest time and hundreds of rice farmers were laboriously bent over their ponds. Timid children smiled and waved as we drove by.

We arrived at this natural UNESCO World Heritage Site and boarded our private wooden junk boat. Quietly we sailed into a peaceful dreamscape that looked surreal with 3,000 islands of sheer limestone cliffs emerging from the calm emerald sea. There was a timeless, haunting quality to this scenery. Nat. Geo. called it “magic in stone and water.” We enjoyed a fantastic seafood lunch with fresh caught crab and prawns. It was a perfect day in the sun in the land of escapism and serenity.

The highlight of the trip for me was our group’s cyclo-tour through Old Hanoi on the last day. We turned a corner downtown to find 28 bicycle-rickshaws lined up to peddle us individually for an hour through the narrow scooter filled lanes of oncoming traffic. There were some near-misses at the red lights which were always ignored. We all laughed as the locals stared. Terry at 6’4” is considered huge even in America. Here he looked like King Tut seated on a throne as his 90lb. driver peddled him effortlessly in line with our group.

Later we went our separate ways for independent exploration. After several hours, I found myself lost in an area of town with no taxis. I had to get back to join others for dinner. I had no choice but to hire a ride on a scooter. Dressed in a skirt with my arms full of bags, I mounted the tiny seat and off we went. On the highway, I wrapped my arms and legs around my driver like an octopus. He laughed the entire way to the Sheraton.

We flew back to Singapore for a good nights rest at the Le Meridian before our long flight home to Los Angeles via Tokyo. I reflected on journey well done with new insights gained on history and culture. It was like visiting two different planets within one vacation. The contrast of this trip is evident in our photos from the contemporary garden paradise of Singapore, to the new renaissance of traditional Vietnam. This is certainly an Asian affair to be remembered.

Where is Palestine?

President Bush prepares to leave the Oval Office no doubt wondering why his “two state solution” has failed to get to first base after six years of fruitless negotiations.

The answer can be found in the following statement made by Palestinian Authority President – Mahmoud Abbas – appearing in the Wall Street Journal on 19 September:

“What is often overlooked is the enormous historic compromise we already made in accepting the two-state solution and the creation of our state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip on only 22% of our historic homeland.”

President Abbas’ claim that the West Bank and Gaza comprise 22% – instead of 5% – of the historic homeland of the Palestinian Arabs continues to materially derail efforts to resolve the issue of sovereignty in the West Bank and Gaza – the only area of former Palestine remaining unallocated between Israel and Jordan.

President Abbas was parroting similar claims made on hundreds of Arab oriented web sites asserting that the Jews established the State of Israel on 78% of the historic homeland of the Palestinian Arabs in the War of Independence in 1948 and subsequently conquered the remaining 22% – the West Bank and Gaza – in the Six Day War of 1967.

This has created the perception that Israel currently occupies 100% of “the historic homeland“ depriving the Palestinian Arabs of a State of their own within that territory, and that the only just solution to resolve their grievances is the creation of such a state in the 22% captured by Israel in 1967.

This propaganda has been given credence by such diverse and influential opinion makers as Editor at large of the Washington Times and United Press International Arnaud de Borchgrave, Professor of Politics at San Francisco University Stephen Zunes, South Africa’s Minister for Intelligence Ronnie Kasrils, Journalist and filmmaker John Pilger, The BBC News Service , French intellectual and journalist Professsor Jules Regis Debray and trenchant anti- Zionist critics Assistant Professor Norman Finkelstein, Israeli historian Ilan Pappe and Jeff Halper.

John Pilger shows how his thinking has actually been influenced by such propaganda when he writes:

“Shortly after it was founded in 1948, Israel controlled, mostly as a result of a United Nations partition and partly by force, a total of 78 per cent of historic Palestine…During the Six-Day War in 1967, the Israelis occupied the remaining 22 per cent of Palestine. Today, the Palestinians, seeking to form their own independent state, want only that 22 per cent back.”

These are false and deceptive statements based on an incorrect understanding of the size of Palestine and the boundaries that defined Palestine in international law.

The reality is that Israel was founded on 17% of historic Palestine in 1948 – not 78% , and captured 5% of historic Palestine in 1967 – not 22%.

The Committee for Accurate Reporting of the Middle East in America (CAMERA) succinctly summarises this reality as follows:

“In fact, the original land of Palestine, as determined by the League of Nations, included what is now Israel, Gaza, the West Bank and the entire state of Jordan. The British transferred nearly 78% of historic Palestine to the Arabs to create a new entity called the Emirate of Transjordan. Jews were forbidden to live, buy land or become citizens there.”

The Emirate remained part of Palestine until 1946 when independence was granted by Great Britain with the consent of the League of Nations and it was renamed the Hashemite Kingdom of Transjordan,

That decision in 1946 irrevocably created an exclusively independent Arab state in 78% of historic Palestine – truncating Palestine to just 22% of the size within which the Jewish people had initially been given the opportunity in 1922 to reconstitute the Jewish National Home.

1948 Palestine therefore was only 22% of the size of 1922 – 1946 Palestine. 78% of Palestine – today called Jordan – together with its Palestinian Arab inhabitants had already achieved statehood in 1946.

Arab propagandists deliberately ignore the events of 1922 and 1946 to justify their claim that Israel now occupies 100% of Palestine. They are only telling 22% of the story – classic misinformation at its Goebbels’ best.

That Mahmoud Abbas can apparently repeat this fiction unchallenged is even more striking when one considers he is also the Chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) whose Constitution claims that Jordan remains an inseparable part of Palestine notwithstanding the actions of Great Britain and the League of Nations in 1922 and 1946.

Indeed the PLO’s stated position was reinforced at the 8th Palestinian National Council meeting in February-March 1971 which declared:

” Jordan is linked to Palestine by a national relationship and a national unity forged by history and culture from the earliest times. The creation of one political entity in Transjordan and another in Palestine would have no basis either in legality or as to the elements universally accepted as fundamental to a political entity. .. In raising the slogan of the liberation of Palestine and presenting the problem of the Palestine revolution, it was not the intention of the Palestine revolution to separate the east of the River from the West, nor did it believe the struggle of the Palestinian people can be separated from the struggle of the masses in Jordan…”

Despite these clear and unrevoked declarations by the PLO, the Quartet – Russia , America, the European Union and the United Nations – still remain foolishly fixated on creating an independent Arab State between Israel and Jordan on 5% of historic Palestine – thus separating the East Bank of the Jordan River from the West Bank and dividing the Arabs who live on each side of the Jordan River from one another.

As Israel’s then Defence Minister Yitzchak Rabin declared on 27 May 1985:

“The Palestinians should have a sovereign State which includes most of the Palestinians. It should be Jordan with a considerable part of the West Bank and Gaza. East of the river Jordan, there is enough room to settle the Palestinian refugees. One tiny State between Israel and Jordan will solve nothing. It will be a time bomb”

How right Mr Rabin was and how wrong Presidents Bush and Abbas are in pursuing an outcome based on propaganda and misinformation – not reality. These historical truths cannot be ignored.

Size really does matter and George Bush and Mahmoud Abbas need to face up to this reality.

David Singer is an Australian Lawyer, a Foundation Member of the International Analyst Network and Convenor of Jordan is Palestine International — an organization calling for sovereignty of the West Bank and Gaza to be allocated between Israel and Jordan as the two successor States to the Mandate for Palestine.

A collection of Brand Car Logos and their meanings (II)

PEUGEOT

PRUGEOT LOGO

Peugeot is a major French car brand, part of PSA Peugeot Citroën, the second largest carmaker in Europe. Peugeot’s roots go back to 19th-century coffee mill and bicycle manufacturing. The company’s entry into the vehicle market was by means of crinoline dresses, which used steel rods, leading to umbrella frames, saw blades, wire wheels, and ultimately bicycles. The trademark of Peugeot is a mighty lion, which is the symbol of the region Franche-Comté, where the company is. The lion represents the excellence of their saws in three aspects: saw tooth is as enduring as lion’s tooth; saw blades is as elastic as lion’s backbone; the performance of the saw is as invincible as that of lion. In 1890, when the first Peugeot motor was out on the market, the company decided to carry on the “lion” trademark to signify its high quality.

ASTONMARTIN

ASTON-MARTIN LOGO

Aston Martin Lagonda Limited is a British manufacturer of luxury sports cars, based in Gaydon, Warwickshire. The company name is derived from the name of one of the company’s founders, Lionel Martin, and from the Aston Hill speed hillclimb near Aston Clinton in Buckinghamshire. The logo of Aston Martin is a flying roc with wings wide spread, on each of which writes ASTON and MARTIN, indicating that the company has the velocity and ambition of a roc.

Bentley

BENTLEY LOGO

Bentley Motors Limited is a British manufacturer of automobiles founded on 18 January 1919 by Walter Owen Bentley (known as W.O. Bentley or just “W.O.”). Mr. Bentley had been previously known for his range of rotary aero-engines in World War I, the most famous being the Bentley BR1 as used in later versions of the Sopwith Camel. Since 1998, the company has been owned by the Volkswagen Group of Germany. Bentley’s winged and flying B logo has been used since the first Bentley motor made its appearance.

LINCOLN

LINCOLN LOGO

Lincoln is the luxury brand of Ford Motor Company. Founded in 1917 by Henry M. Leland and acquired by Ford in 1922, Lincoln has manufactured vehicles since the 1920s. Leland named the brand after his longtime hero Abraham Lincoln. In 1927, Lincoln adopted the greyhound as their emblem, which was later replaced with diamond that is currently in use.

JAGUAR

JAGUAR LOGO

Jaguar Cars Ltd., better known simply as Jaguar (pronounced) is a manufacturer of luxury and executive motor cars, headquartered in Coventry, England, and now operated as part of the Jaguar Land Rover business owned by Tata Motors of India. Jaguar was founded as the Swallow Sidecar Company by Sir William Lyons in 1922, originally making motorcycle sidecars before switching to passenger cars. The name was changed to Jaguar after World War II due to the unfavourable connotations of the SS initials. Jaguar cars are designed in an engineering centre at their headquarters in Coventry, England and are manufactured in one of three English Jaguar plants; Castle Bromwich in Birmingham, Halewood near Liverpool and Gaydon in Oxfordshire. The Jaguar logo is a Jaguar leaping across the company name. The leaping Jaguart is possibly built to represent the speed, power and quickness of the car. The Jaguar emblem is also placed on the front of the car.

CHEVROLET

CHEVROLET LOGO

Chevrolet (of Swiss origin) (also known as Chevy) is a brand produced by General Motors Company. It is the top selling GM marque, with “Chevrolet” or “Chevy” being at times synonymous with GM. Chevrolet offers 18 vehicles and many different enhanced versions in its home market. The vehicles range from subcompact cars to medium duty commercial trucks. Its number one seller in the United States is the Silverado pickup. The straightforward Chevy logo may seem mundane to the spectator at the first glance but it indeed holds huge significance in the corporate world. A brilliant simple cross in customary metallic colors representing the automobile industry defines the Chevy logo completely. Being a very simple yet elegant trademark, the Chevy logo design compels an everlasting impact on the human mind.

LEXUS

LEXUS LOGO

Lexus is the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation. The Lexus logo was developed by Molly Designs and Hunter Communications. The final design for the Lexus logo featured a stylized “L” within an oval, and according to Toyota, was rendered using a precise mathematical formula. The first teaser ads featuring the Lexus name and logo, designed by Team One, appeared at the Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York auto shows in 1988.

LAMBORGHINI

LAMBORGHINI LOGO

Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., commonly referred to as Lamborghini, is an Italian sports car manufacturer, based in the small village of Sant’Agata Bolognese. Founded by businessman and tractor factory owner Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1963, the company has achieved widespread recognition for sleek, exotic designs, and its cars have become symbols of performance and wealth. The Lamborghini Charging Bull Logo stands for the founder’s, Ferruccio Lamborghini, zodiacal sign (Taurus). Most of the company’s cars have been named after famous fighting bulls (oddly most have been Spanish bulls not Italian). Interestingly it is said that the choice of an animal and the colors used on the logo (gold on a black background, and a charging bull) are suspiciously similar to the Ferrari logo (a black horse on a yellow background). It is believed that this was no accident on the part of Lamborghini, who had a long standing (and not always friendly) rivalry with Ferrari.

CADILLAC

CADILLAC LOGO

Cadillac is a luxury vehicle marque owned by General Motors Company. Cadillac vehicles are sold in over 50 countries and territories, but mainly in North America. The Couronne (Crown)-The crown symbolizes the six ancient counts of France. Each tip is topped with a pearl, a symbol of descendancy from the royal counts of Tolouse. The Shield-In heraldry, a shield represents the origins of a noble family. Its shape is of no consequence, and it pertains to those shield shapes used during the Crusades. The original Cadillac shield though, is round. The First and Fourth Quarterings-They display the arms de la Mothe. The color- black against gold- represents wisdom and riches. The “fess” or lateral black bar, represents an award for Crusader service. The Second and Third Quarterings-The red band symbolizes prowess and boldness in action. The silver represents purity, charity, virtue, and plenty. The blue represents knightly valor. The emblem was adopted for use on Cadillac cars in 1905. It was registered as a trademark on August 7, 1906.

ALFAROMEO

ALFA-ROEMO LOGO

Alfa Romeo Automobiles S.p.A. is an Italian automaker founded on June 24, 1910 in Milan. The logo is split in half and contains the emblems of Alfa’s hometown Milan and the one of the great Milanese ‘Visconti’ family. On the left is the red cross on a white background, which refers back to the days of the First Crusade, when many Milanese soldiers were amongst the Lombards who followed Giovanni of Rho to the Holy Land. The red cross was their symbol, whilst the white background symbolised the white shirts they were forced to wear under their armour to protect them from the fierce Palestinian sun. On the right of the badge are the arms of the Visconti family, which later became recognised as those of the City of Milan. Some says the serpent represents the snakes that the Lombards used to wear round their necks in a little case as a lucky charm, – or the dragon which, at the start of the fifth century, plagued Milan and was finally killed by Uberto, Squire of Angera, and founder of the Visconti family, – or it could be the symbol of Ottone Visconti who fought a victorious duel with the Saracen leader, Voluce, during the First Crusade. The city of Milan, however, claims that the serpent has nothing to do with the Visconti family.

VOLVO

VOLVO LOGO

The Volvo Group is a Swedish supplier of commercial vehicles such as trucks, buses and construction equipment, drive systems for marine and industrial applications, aerospace components and financial services. Volvo was founded on 14 April 1927 in the city of Gothenburg, as a spin-off from the roller ball bearing maker SKF. The name Volvo means “I roll” in Latin (or “I drive” in modern-day English, appropriate for cars as well as bearings). The word is derived from the Latin word “volvere” which means “to roll”. The logo for Volvo is the ancient symbol of Iron, which is a circle with an arrow pointed diagonally upwards to the right. The iron badge on the car was supposed to take up this symbolism and create associations with the honoured traditions of the Swedish iron industry: steel and strength with properties such as safety, quality and durability. Today, the iron logo also stands for a brand that radiates modern and exciting design and has a strong emotive connection with the customers.

MAZDA

MAZDA LOGO

Mazda Motor Corporation is a Japanese automotive manufacturer based in Hiroshima, Japan. t is said that Mazda coincides with the anglicized pronunciation of the founder’s name, Jujiro Matsuda, who was interested in spirituality, and chose to rename the firm in honor of both his family and Zoroastrianism. The word Mazda derives from Ahura Mazda, the Avestan language name for a divinity exalted by the ancient Iranian prophet Zoroaster, as the source of wisdom, intelligence and harmony. The current logo attempts to capture the spirit of Mazda, the stylised “M” evokes an image of wings in flight and symbolises the Mazda’s flight toward the future. The “V” in the centre of the “M” spreads out like an opening fan, representing the creativity, vitality, flexibility and passion that is Mazda. The symbol as a whole expresses the sharp, solid feeling that Mazda will be seeking in all of its products. The dynamic circle symbolizes our readiness to spread our wings as we enter the 21st century.

PONTIAC

PONTIAC LOGO

Pontiac is a brand of automobiles first produced in 1926, and sold in the United States, Canada and Mexico by General Motors (GM), marketed as an “athletic” brand specializing in mainstream performance vehicles. The original logo was that of an American Indian headdress, which was used as a logo until 1956. The American Indian headdress is obviously connected to Chief Pontiac referenced earlier. This was updated to the currently used American Indian red arrowhead design for 1957. The arrowhead logo is also known as the Dart. The logo has a distinctive Red and a silver star in the middle. I am not sure what the significance of the star is but a lot of the Native American art contains elements of nature such as the sun, moon and stars.

The Mountains Of Avatar

Nearly a quarter billion in revenue on the first weekend for Avatar (world wide distribution) is impressive.  Like the movie trilogy, Matrix, there are many spiritual truths embedded within the highly graphic and action-filled movie; however, one that got my attention was the floating mountains of Avatar.

The mountains which seemed to float above the planet were each attached by vines.

What seems to us to be a random collection of planets and an even more random disconnect between people, religions, and nations IS NOT! Our universe is not 4% disconnected matter (planets, stars, galaxies, etc.) and 96% space (non matter). We are now (science) to begin to understand that the invisible 96% is 73% dark energy and 23% dark matter (the gravitational field needed to keep whirling galaxies from flying apart as they spin).

The universe isn’t just the VISIBLE forms of matter!

WE are NOT just the PHYSICAL FORMS that we call a body. Empty space is not empty and we are not confined to our physical frames. We are spirit (can you say ENERGY, LIGHT, VIBRATION?), like the floating mountains, tied to the ONE. The quantum physics discovery of non-locality is causing scientists to redefine their religion of scientific materialism. When we come to the realization that we are more than our brother’s keeper, we are our brother, then we open a new way of life wherein we can mutually co-exist in peace.

Until then, we’ll continue along the path of destruction.

Only LOVE can save us. Isn’t that the message of the Kingdom- and Jesus?

As a spiritual-futurist, I have a BA degree majoring in history. One cannot know the future without knowing the past which holds clues to what is on the horizon. Science Fiction Books – Let Your Imagination Fly Far and Wide

Science fiction has inspired many block-buster movies. Star Wars, Matrix and Terminator are some of the movies that are based on science fiction. In fact, many scientific discoveries were first imagined in science fiction literature only. Robots were first featured in children’s fiction books during the start of the twentieth century. They eventually became a reality during the later part of the twentieth century.

Unlike other types of fictions, the science fiction books feature technological innovations that have not become a reality. Most of the present day fiction books discuss about time-machines, inter-stellar travel and flying cars. These are as innovative a concept as Robots were during the start of the twentieth century. Who knows, these science fiction machines may eventually become a part of our daily life in not too far future.

Robert Jordan’s “Popular Wheel of Time,” “Lord of the Rings” and “Star Trek” are among the all time favourite science fiction books. Joe R. Lansdale’s “Flaming London” is among the best selling fiction books of the present time. The book presents us with a postmodern alternate earth in its Victorian period. The main carryover character of the book is Ned the Seal. A mere seal in body, Ned has been experimented on by Dr. Momo and is now a highly intelligent being. Ned has thumbs grafted into his flippers so that he may communicate with humanity with his omnipresent slate. In fact, most of the book is narrated by Ned himself.

Leading book publishers come up with new science fiction books every now and then. In fact there is a multi-billion industry that is based on science fiction books. These days, DVD and CD versions of these books are also available at retailers across the world. These books and their DVD/CD versions are also available at leading online book stores of the UK like Bookworm and Amazon UK at highly attractive bargain prices.
